Table Assembly

by Daniel Wehrli

Table Assembly

Assembly encapsulates the spirit of the iWood aesthetic. The four elements that make up the table - top, rail and legs - are carved from a solid wood board using iWood's home-made CNC tools. Assembled using a traditional carpentry technique, these four pieces form an elegant, almost airy table, thanks to the meticulous work done on the edges.
Sit at a wooden table to discuss, share a meal or do homework with your children. The wooden table is a place to meet, debate and discuss.

Advice and information

European wood species

All our wood from Europe is certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or HVH (Holz von Hier) and is selected according to three criteria: sustainable forest management, the distance between cutting and processing into panels and the absence of additives.

Swiss wood species

To compensate for the current lack of industrial processing of Swiss wood into panels, we have activated a local production network.
We can already offer you part of our catalog in oak and walnut from the Fribourg region.

Wood treatment

Our wooden furniture is hand-sanded and offered oiled. You can also buy a kit from the craftsman and do it yourself. The selected oil is made of natural raw materials only and meets the most demanding EN 71/T3 standards.

Custom furniture

Our furniture is parametric. If you wish other dimensions than those proposed, we will send you the offer corresponding to the desired measures.

The designer of your furniture

"Constraints help us create. The iwood production model has allowed us to develop a collection with a strong identity. It's all the more pleasing that the designers have been integrated into this approach.

"This new production model is a challenge and a huge opportunity to rethink the whole production process. Putting sustainability of furniture and local production at the center of the concerns is really positive. Everyone wins, from the designer to the customer. But I especially like the fact that the concept uses digitalization to be close to the people, the customers but also the carpenters who produce the furniture.
